Krzysztof Stencel belongs to the first generation of Polish musicians playing historical instruments. Stencel graduated from the <strong>Academy of Music in Katowice in the class of Mieczys\u0142aw Korcz<\/strong>. After obtaining his master\u2019s degree, he continued his studies with <strong>William VerMeulen in Houston<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In recent seasons he worked with leading early music ensembles, including the Helsinki Baroque Orchestra, Den Jyske Sinfonietta, the Finnish Baroque Orchestra, Enghave Barok, the Wroc\u0142aw Baroque Orchestra, Esterh\u00e1zy Hofkapelle, Capella Savaria and Arte dei Suonatori. Krzysztof Stencel has performed under the directions of such masters as Christopher Hogwood, Philippe Herreweghe, Paul McCreesh, Paul Goodwin, Marc Minkowski and Enrico Onofri.<\/p>\n<p>Apart from his involvement with playing historical instruments, Krzysztof Stencel performs and teaches the modern French horn. He has performed many times with the World Orchestra for Peace, the National Philharmonic Orchestra and with Sinfonia Varsovia.<\/p>\n<p>He is the originator and organiser of the <strong>\u201cRogowisko\u201d <\/strong>French horn workshops.
