Concerts In Spain

Scena, na której występują muzycy orkiestry

After many months of livestreams, we will finally perform in front of a live audience! On 24 and 26 May, two concerts will take place in Madrid and Barcelona. Sinfonia Varsovia will play with Alexander Liebreich as conductor and Viviane Hagner as violin soloist.

The first concert will take place at Madrid’s Auditorio Nacional de Música, where we will perform three pieces: Witold Lutosławski’s Funeral Music, Johannes Brahms’ Violin Concerto in D major, Op. 77, and Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy’s Suite from A Midsummer Night’s Dream. The opening piece by the Polish composer will be a tribute to the victims of the COVID-19 pandemic. The evening will end with a piece that brings hope for a better future. Then we are going to Barcelona. We will play the same repertoire at L’ Auditori de Barcelona.
