Shot on the 30th anniversary of the event, this documentary takes a look behind the scenes at the concert at the Caracalla Thermal Baths and its sequel in Los Angeles. Previously unseen footage refers to Carreras’ struggle with leukaemia and sheds light on the singers’ rivalry and friendship, ‘contract poker’ and the life of opera stars.
