Anthony Romaniuk is a keyboardist and multi-instrumentalist with a unique approach to classical music. Fascinated by jazz and improvisation in his youth in Australia, he went on to study classical piano at the Manhattan School of Music before specializing in historical performance (harpsichord and fortepiano) for several years of study in the Netherlands. He regularly works with artists of different styles – such as violinist Patricia Kopatchinskaja and tenor Reinoud van Mechelen, and is also comfortable with indie rock music, ambient, and electronic music. Each of Romaniuk’s albums is characterized by original concepts, non-standard repertoire combinations, and diverse, variable instrumentation.
