Ewa Pobłocka – Bach: piano recital

Sinfonia Varsovia, ul. Grochowska 272, Warsaw
Chamber concertFestival

My life with Bach – this could be the title of Ewa Pobłocka’s recital, as the music of the Leipzig cantor has accompanied her since childhood. Her recent recording of Das Wohltemperierte Klavier was ranked by the British “Gramophone” as one of the fifty most outstanding interpretations in history, as a result of which the artist was invited to London’s prestigious Wigmore Hall. In addition to selected preludes and fugues from the aforementioned collection, the pianist will perform two larger forms: Partita in G Major BWV 829 and the famous Italian Concerto.
