Musethica is a social and educational program for musicians founded in 2012 by Avri Levitan, a violist from Berlin. Each edition of the project consists of two parts: intensive workshops conducted by chamber music masters for gifted young musicians and performance of the repertoire in unusual concert venues, such as nursing homes, hospitals, prisons, social welfare centers, and educational facilities. Connecting with the audience and sharing ideas with each other embodies art’s power to communicate and convey emotions. Both the audience and the performers change their thinking about music. The Warsaw edition of Musethica will end with a finale which will take place in the New Miodowa, the concert hall of the State Music School Complex No. 1.
