Anna Gotartowska

I Violin in Sinfonia Varsovia since 1984

Born in Gdańsk, where she completed primary and secondary music school education in the violin class of Professor Jerzy Hazuka. In the secondary school she won 4th place in the Secondary Music School Auditions in Elbląg. She has graduated from the Warsaw Academy of Music with honours. In the course of her studies she founded the Mazovia quartet, with which she has performed to acclaim at various festivals, including the Warsaw Autumn Festival and the Mozart Triduum.

In 1984 she passed auditions to play in Jerzy Maksymiuk’s Polish Chamber Orchestra. She is currently a member of that orchestra, and of the Sinfonia Varsovia Orchestra.

For her activity she has received the Bronze Cross of Merit in 2015.
