Artur Gadzała Soloist

I Violin in Sinfonia Varsovia since 1992

Born in Warsaw. He commenced the study of his instrument at the age of five. In 1990 he graduated with honours from the Fryderyk Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw in the violin class of Professor Zenon Brzewski. In the course of his studies he took part in national and international competitions. He also studied with professors: Marina Yashvili, Wolfgang Marschner, Oleg Krysa, Zoria Shikhmurzayeva and Mirosław Rusin.

Following graduation Gadzała has taught as an assistant in the class of Professor Zenon Brzewski at the Fryderyk Chopin Academy of Music. He has performed many times as soloist in Poland and abroad. Gadzała has been a member of the Sinfonia Varsovia Orchestra – Polish Chamber Orchestra since 1992. He has held the position of soloist since 2003.

For his activity he has honoured with the Order of Distinguished Service for Warsaw in 2014.
