Studied at the University of Southern California in the class of Professor Dennis Trembly (Los Angeles Philharmonic; 1999-2003), Janne Saksal (Berliner Philharmoniker; 2003-2011) and Chris Hanulik (Los Angeles Philharmonic; 2003-2005).
Nicholas Franco played at the following festivals: Lucerne Festival Academy (2004); Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival (2001, 2003); Pacific Music Festival, Sapporo (2005).
He played with the San Diego Symphony Orchestra, in the United States (2000-2005), the Long Beach Symphony Orchestra, in the United States (2003-2007), the Los Angeles Philharmonic, in the United States (2006-2008), Theatre Oper Palau de les Arts “Reina Sofia” (Orquesta de la Comunidad Valenciana) in Valencia, Spain (2006-2011), the New Japan Philharmonic in Tokyo (2009), the Royal Philharmonic in London (2010-2011) and in the Royal Danish Theatre, Copenhagen (2011-2014).
In August 2014 Nicholas Franco became the double bass leader in the Sinfonia Varsovia Orchestra.
