Sinfonia Varsovia at the piano festival in La Roque-d’Anthéron

From 6 to 9 August, Sinfonia Varsovia will be on a short trip in Provence. During the renowned 41st International Piano Festival in La Roque-d’Anthéron, the orchestra will join world-class artists to perform pieces by Mozart, Shostakovich, and Saint-Saëns. Florent Boffard, Claire Désert, Alexandre Kantorow, Marie-Ange Nguci, Anne Queffélec, and Emmanuel Strosser will be the soloists, while Jean-Jacques Kantorow and Arie van Beek will stand on the conductor’s podium.

The concert will be held on 6 August and broadcast by the France Musique radio station at 9 PM CEST. The program will include pieces by Mozart: Fantasy in F minor (in Busoni’s arrangement for two pianos), Quintet for piano and wind instruments in E flat major, and two piano concertos – No. 10 in E flat major for two pianos and No. 7 in F major for three pianos.
