Music of the cosmic spheres (Mazzoli), jazz, piano and orchestra (Gershwin), and a creative reconstruction of Schubert’s last symphony left by him in sketches (Berio) – this is the colorful way the 23rd edition of the Festival will begin. Sinfonia Varsovia will be led by its principal guest conductor, Aleksandar Marković. The soloist in George Gershwin’s Piano Concerto will be Elisaveta Blumina, a versatile and energetic virtuoso who has lived in Germany for years and pursued a worldwide career as a soloist and chamber musician.
