Dance Meetings on Grochowska 2025: Swing & Lindy Hop

The dance floor on Grochowska Street is ready for a lively crowd! Everyone who enjoys moving to music will find a dance style to suit them at Sinfonia Varsovia. Over six Friday evenings in June and July, the Concert Pavilion will come alive with live music from around the world. Dance lovers of all ages can enjoy Balkan horo and sirba, pre-war hits with a Warsaw twist, club-style funk and disco, American swing, traditional tunes from the villages and crossroads of central Poland, and the fiery energy of Latin salsa. Each evening of free dancing begins with a performance and a short lesson led by experienced instructors.

Every Friday from 20 June to 25 July, 7pm! The event is not ticketed and no reservation is required.

Wisła Hot 6:
Wisła Hot 6 is a band formed by Warsaw-based musicians specialising in swing music. They work closely with the lindy hop dance school swingout.pl and regularly perform at festivals, concerts and swing dance evenings. Their appearances have included events such as Złota Tarka in Iława, the Night of Culture in Lublin, Warsaw Street Party, Jazz over Lake Niegocin in Giżycko, Zgorzelec’s Fridays on the Grass, Swing Club in Mazovia, and the Quiet Zone Festival at Warsaw’s Royal Łazienki Park. They have also performed at numerous swing parties, including Dance Meetings on Grochowska organised by Sinfonia Varsovia and the Singer’s Warsaw Festival.
