Dance Meetings on Grochowska 2025: Polish Traditional Music

The dance floor on Grochowska Street is ready for a lively crowd! Everyone who enjoys moving to music will find a dance style to suit them at Sinfonia Varsovia. Over six Friday evenings in June and July, the Concert Pavilion will come alive with live music from around the world. Dance lovers of all ages can enjoy Balkan horo and sirba, pre-war hits with a Warsaw twist, club-style funk and disco, American swing, traditional tunes from the villages and crossroads of central Poland, and the fiery energy of Latin salsa. Each evening of free dancing begins with a performance and a short lesson led by experienced instructors.

Every Friday from 20 June to 25 July, 7pm! The event is not ticketed and no reservation is required.

Janusz Prusinowski Kompania:
Janusz Prusinowski Kompania is a band performing traditional music from central Poland, presented in their own distinctive and original style. Their work ranges from concerts and dance-led events to interactive music-theatre performances for children, carol singing, and outstanding dance workshops. Over the course of fifteen years together, they have toured nearly the entire globe – from the United States to Japan – but what brings them the greatest joy is sharing traditional music in the very places where it first came to life.
