Tender Launched for the Construction of the Largest Concert Hall in Poland

On 13 May 2025, Sinfonia Varsovia launched a tender for the selection of a general contractor to deliver the second stage of construction at its future home at 272 Grochowska Street in Warsaw. This marks a key milestone in the multi-phase development, the centrepiece of which will be the largest concert hall in Poland – with a capacity of 1,877 seats. The hall has been designed in collaboration with acclaimed acousticians from Berlin (Müller-BBM) and Brussels (Eckhard Kahle Acoustics), combining elements of the classic “shoebox” and the contemporary “vineyard” layout.

This phase of the investment will also include the construction of a chamber hall, rehearsal spaces, and the renovation of two historic outbuildings on the site. The deadline for applications to participate in the tender process is 30 June 2025. Completion of the building is planned for 2030.
